How do we rank the following 10 firms for litigation in Chicago?
K&E, Sidley, Mayer, Jenner, MWE, Skadden, Latham, Jones, Katten, Schiff
If we are going in tiers, seems K&E is alone up top. I am having a hard time splitting up the firms after that.

Bro chambers already does this. If its not fine-grain enough for you, then ask yourself if you aren't looking for distinctions that don't exist.
