Anyone got an offer? How long did take post-CB?

It took three days for my offer.

Sorry to hijack, just a quick question. I had my screener a couple of weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet. I thought it went well, but my grades are borderline at best for Steptoe. Should I assume the rejection is in the mail at this point, or is there any reason to hold out meager hope?

I have no idea what borderline for Steptoe is.

Hijacker here. By borderline, I mean my grades suck, and my OCS said Steptoe generally only looks at people with shiny transcripts (from my school, at least).

Took 2 weeks for mine.

What did everyone think of the firm? I saw on NALP they went 13/16 offers two summers back. Any cause for concern?

I rejected my offer for a few reasons, but one was that I just got an inexplicable, weird vibe about morale/firm health (which is probably completely wrong, but that's definitely the vibe I got).

The firm seems to get high marks for associate satisfaction.

The feeling may just be due to older offices. I'll have to take another look. Still a top choice.

Is the vibe because of their un-remodeled offices? They're certainly less swanky than some of the others I've seen, but I'm not sure that really means anything. They're right on the circle.

Top choice. No news from month-old OCI screener? I must be a maybe in a pile of maybes, or else forgotten.

Has anyone else heard from Steptoe post-CB? How long does it take? Still waiting on mine.

Have an offer here, thinking of taking it over a few D.C. satellite offices of higher vault-ranked firms. Can anyone speak to the firm's reputation in D.C., partnership prospects or likely exit options? Will I get pigeonholed into doing just litigation or is there enough regulatory work to go around?

Curious which satellite offices you're considering....

Here's something helpful. MoFo appears on this list in Band 1 in some places, which is pretty good. Steptoe doesn't appear on it at all.
