And are their jobs only reserved for the born and bred typically, or for anyone who goes to a school local to that state and networks hard every year?

As in, where has jobs for lawyers but lawyers just don't like living there cause it's not sexy like New York or Miami?

Texas is doing great. And really NY has been doing better too. Class sizes are increasing.

lol thanks.

Being fair though, when I first clicked on that, it said the forum no longer exists or doesn't exist, forgot the wording.

I clicked on it just now and it now works, so maybe that was a temp glitch. That's why I started it here though...not sure that people who are still law students and not out in the real job search world would have the real answers to this question...

Apparently Nebraska is one state, from one article I saw, that has more law jobs than new grads...not sure if there is a waiver agreement masking the reality there like with the DC numbers, as the same article claimed there were more DC lawyer jobs than grads taking the DC bar...but even I know from research I did a couple YEARS ago that most people take the Maryland or some other bar and waiver into DC. So many people want to jump in and offer their opinion now on the state of legal employment for new grads that there is starting to be junk out there that takes even more careful analysis than the employment data given by the schools!

Was it really necessary to be anonymous for that answer though?
