Can anyone with first hand experience comment on the turnaround time and method of delivery (email or snail mail). Thanks in advance and moreso interested in V6-10.

It depends when in the week you interview. At at least one 6-10, the committee meets once a week, so if you interview on the right side of that it's very fast (e.g. Thursday CB, offer Monday via phonecall).

Is Friday the typical meeting day? With Labor Day weekend happening I wonder if Friday committee meetings were scraped...

This Friday, I received an early afternoon phone call with a V5 offer. I assume the meeting either happened Friday morning or Thursday.
The better advice is sit back, wait, and stop worrying about things that are beyond your control now.
