Fried Frank NY Super Wednesday (September 5)
I have a callback that is scheduled at Fried Frank NY on Wednesday, September 5th. The recruiter told me they would do a majority of their callback interviews on this day. Anyone else going to be there on Wednesday? Just wanted to get an estimate of how many other people were scheduled for this day and if anyone is sitting on any NY offers.

Have one tomorrow as well. Not sure how much you can extrapolate from people self-reporting on TLS though.Anonymous User wrote:bump.

Hey guys. I was at the last Super Wednesday and am wondering what general thoughts people had about the atmosphere/culture of the firm. Did it come off as an enjoyable place to work?

Obviously, YMMV, but everyone I met seemed absolutely thrilled to be there and was generally interesting. Is now my clear top choice.
For what it's worth, I had my CB on Friday. I've heard that in past years, their hiring committees met on Wednesdays and got to people on Thursdays, so if that holds true it's fairly likely we will receive a response on the 13th.

Interviewed Wednesday. Email ding on Friday.
As far as the firm goes, I found it to be a little uptight. The two partners I met with seemed bothered by the fact that they had to conduct interviews. I knew when I left on Wednesday night that Fried Frank was not the place for me. To each his own.

Yes, I thought they said that we should start hearing something Tuesday. It sounds like there hasn't been any word though.Mosherman wrote:When did you hear that? Were you on the Super Wednesday?Anonymous User wrote:I thought they said offers were coming out on Tuesday.

Went to the Super Wednesday and received an offer that Friday. Like most firms, if you haven't heard anything by now, it's not necessarily a bad thing. Good luck everyone!
