I am a 3L that only wants to do transactional related work(i'll rather do non-law transactional work over litigation) and I'm wondering if you guys can give me some advice on where else I should be applying? Are there positions in banks and F500 companies that I should be looking at?

Well, big firms are done hiring, and banks and F500 companies like to hire big firm alums

Most of the 3L jobs that are left are litigation

But you may be able to work for a small firm doing real estate/trusts/estate/wills/probate

Not sure what to do right now. There's absolutely nothing out there. Still under consideration for BigGov and a single mid-size firm, but no one else has responded to any inquiries and I haven't seen any postings. Doubt I get a job out of my current prospects.

For some morbid reason I'm not even worried; I think I went from anger, skipped sadness, and fell straight into a calm resignation. Losing a market paying job for reasons out of your control will do that to you, I reckon.

Compliance is possible after law school.

But having interned at a big bank in college in compliance, most of the entry-level jobs in compliance are for college graduates who have interned in compliance/ back office/ middle office functions during the summer (usually after striking out during recruiting for front office work, similar timelines to SA work for law schools). The next level up in compliance will usually be people who have worked their way up or entered after b-school with an MBA.

Some big banks now are opening up purely back office operations in smaller cities, and these positions are open for law students. I think Deutsche Bank has an office in Jacksonville.

Sorry words bother you so much. Luckily, I have never interviewed with someone as abrasive and obnoxious as you, so I don't talk to interviewers like this. Or the vast majority of people, really. I just have a low tolerance for asshattery and superiority complexes.

It's nice of you to suggest that it's the first time I've heard of these anti money laundering positions. But the truth of the matter is that entry-level positions like that are virtually non-existent. If you know of any, you could actually be helpful and post some instead of just trying to make people feel like it's solely their fault for not having an offer, and that the lack of jobs isn't at all to blame.

Looks like we're rivals then. Are you looking at Colorado specifically or nationwide?

ETA: Looks like you're a 3L looking far and wide. From experience, Colorado's hard to crack if you didn't go to CU or DU. Yay out of state trap schools. That doesn't mean it can't be done. I think Borhas is starting a gubmint/non-profit jerb here.

Partner called me 2 hours before my interview to tell me that the position was filled and I don't need to show up. Ouch, especially with the scarcity of interviews in the Vale as is.
