GW/BC/BU/Fordham: non-IP bigLaw. Any signs of life?

GW/BC/BU/Fordham (and like level) schools have some fairly low bigLaw scores for c/o 2011. Anyone have any insight into whether the 20-30 percent at those schools going into bigLaw is just all IP? What is the non-IP (general lit, e.g.) bigLaw placement at these schools?

Are you a 0L?
Anyways, I don't know but I'm top 30% at one of those schools and OCI (no IP firms) is not going very well. All the interview feedback I've gotten has been positive so it's a grades issue. Still, I'd say top 25% has a really good shot, under that seems hit or miss, mostly miss.

poaster is a 0L and has been warned previously by the mods. for the record, you don't need IP from these schools to get biglaw, but it will be an uphill challenge outside the top 20-25% (roughly).

Feels like there were at most 30 IP candidates at Fordham OCI this year, a couple of firms didnt fill out a 21 interview schedule.
That would be around 8% of the class.
Last couple of years the IP firms usually combine for around 10 offers accepted total, maybe less.

Fordham had over 100 firms at OCI with some giving 30-40 call backs sometimes...

Top 10% at BU with 11 CBs, and will probably end up with a couple more. Have a V5 interview and a few V20s in NY, and then most of the top Boston firms.
I've heard that the IP/non-IP distinction matters at GW (just hearsay, probably from this board), but I don't think it matters at BU/BC or Fordham. If you have top grades, you'll do fine from these schools.

It's pretty much the same at GW. If you're in the top 25%, you have a good chance at OCI. The only difference with IP students is that they have a good chance even with lower grades. Many firms have a separate IP-only interview schedule.

This is accurate for Fordham as well.

Interesting. I had similar stats but transferred and now have slightly less CBs than this poster. Was freaked out by hearing that last year people in top 10% struck out even at BU. Does this poster have relevant WE or just an awesome interviewer?

Don't confuse CBs with offers.

Only 1/4-1/2 of CBs lead to offers and people have struck out on as many as 10 from what I hear from Fordham. That said, there are always people who get something through OCI from below median and some who strike out as top 10% at Fordham so the interviews probably matter. Also you never know what connections the people who get offers as below median have.
