Anonymous because of embarrassment.

I've done 10 screeners and have had zero callbacks so far. Haven't had any responses from mass mail I sent out in late July/early August, so I'm thinking I should fire out another round of mass mails.

Is it too late for more mass mails? And is it normal to just not hear anything by August 27th? I mean, I haven't even gotten dings by snail mail either...I just don't know what's going on and whether I should send follow-up emails to the firms who have neither dinged me nor called me back.

This would be simpler if I hadn't secured screeners in the first place. Then I would just know that I don't have a chance.

It's definitely not too late to mass mail some more. Try to target larger markets if you bid on competitive/regional markets.
