Does anyone have information about their hiring practices? I heard a couple of years ago there was a hiring freeze, but is that still in effect? Their website really sucks and doesn't have any hiring info.
I went to law school in NY and I'm clerking for a district judge for a year in CA. Just took the CA bar. But my gf just got a great job in Miami and I've decided to move there with her after this year. Does the Miami FPD -- or any FPD office for that matter -- hire clerks who don't have any previous trial experience? If so, would I even be a competitive applicant? Assuming I pass the CA bar, would I have to take the FL bar for a FPD job?
Any info about this office would be greatly appreciated.
