Re: WilmerHale NYC
Received WilmerHale NYC offer for last summer. Won't specify my interviewer, but he/she was a super nice person and also really liked the people at the offer dinner. Non-intense bunch of people. I was interested in litigation. I didn't end up accepting the offer because I felt like their NYC office was too small and too new for someone like me who will probably be leaving biglaw in 5 years and doesn't want to wait for the office to really come unto its own, but I heard they've got some really sweet digs downtown in NYC and genuinely care about associate mentoring and personal growth at the firm. One minor gripe is that they got a bit too aggressive about selling the firm after I got the offer, which made turning them down really awkward. I think they're trying really hard to grow the office. I'm not sure anyone's made partner at the WH NYC office yet. Everyone is a transplant from another office, namely Boston.

Considering an offer here. Would also like to hear about its litigation practice.
How much has the office expanded in the last couple of years? Would it be a mistake to go here over a Band 1 litigation firm?
