With today being the last day of Emory's Early OCI, just wanted to start a thread to keep track of when people are starting to hear from specific firms and when callbacks are being offered/scheduled. I will try to update this as people respond to indicate where callbacks have already began to be offered.

(note: I'm only including Atlanta firms in the OP, but feel free to mention Emory in NY/DC callbacks)

For reference, here are some of the Atlanta firms from Early OCI:

Alston + Bird
Arnall Golden Gregory
Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz
Bickel & Brewer (TX)
Bondurant, Mixson & Elmore
Bryan Cave
Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry
Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel (TN)
Epstein Becker & Green

Dear god. Well I got dinged from both NY and ATL KS. I guess it's to be expected since their class sizes are pitiful.

How did they notify you? by email or snail mail?

Also thank you for starting this thread anon, I was thinking I would if no one else did just because so far I've heard nothing and was wondering if others were in the same boat.

School e-mail (or whatever you put on your resume, I guess).

Probably competition from T14s and Vanderbilt.

Well... if K&S is only taking a small number of s.a.'s in Atlanta, then it's not unreasonable that they would only call back a small number of people from any one particular school. Still, it sucks pretty hard.

I haven't heard anything from a few major players (A+B, McKenna, Sutherland), so hope endures. Unless those firms have already started making calls, in which case...

Depressing, does Emory LR get ATL biglaw?

If Emory's top 10% + LR doesn't get an NLJ firm/federal clerkship, something is wrong.
