How time consuming is interning for a judge?

Hey I'm an incoming 2L and I've accepted a position interning for a criminal trial court judge and talked about working about 10.5 hours per week.
The problem is the small firm I've done my summer internship at wants me to continue working a few days per week and has offered to pay me, and a little income would be nice. Plus I like the work. I'm currently enrolled in 5 courses (3 BAR classes, 2 electives), but I plan on dropping 1 BAR class. Also, I'm doing no journals/LR/moot court/mock trial. Also, I'm not likely to be interviewed for OCI, so I'm not concerned with finding a job that way.
How much work is the judge? Is it like LRW class where I will have tons of research and stuff to do outside of work?
Are 2L courses more time consuming or are they more or less the same?
