In the process of mass mailing, I got a little bit caught up in the motions and sent my materials to a firm's general e-mail address, when I meant to send them to a particular partner. (Guilty of copy-pasting without looking at the "To:" line more closely before hitting send!)

If I re-send directly to the partner, as I had meant to, do I look a little nutty, or is this okay? I already feel neurotic even just posting about this If it helps: it is a small-ish firm, not big law, so I am not sure what happens to e-mails sent to the general inbox.

Yes, it looks like you're unfocused or disorganized or just emailing everyone without real interest. I've made the same mistake myself in the past.

Send it to the partner and stop over thinking things.
