getting a real interview from mock interview

I'm a 2L at Fordham, OCI starts in about a week. I did a mock interview a few weeks ago with someone from a firm that I'm really interested in. I'm definitely well within their grade range, but I didn't get an interview with them. I also think I really did well with the mock interviewer (however, he mentioned that he doesn't pick the interviewees, the hiring partner does). This guy is coming to campus as an interviewer during OCI. Would it be a good idea to email him asking for an interview, or maybe just to say that I'm disappointed that I didn't get an interview and I would look forward to chatting on campus if he has time. Or would it be a better idea to go in after one of his interviews and ask to give him a resume/look out for him at a hospitality suite?

I don't know which course of action is better, but, if you're within the grade range and you hit it off with the guy in a mock interview and you're sincerely interested in the firm, you should certainly do something
