Multi-page resume for clerkships

It's like 1 and a half pages, but all legal stuff. Should I shrink it down to 1?

Yes.

It is very, very close to never appropriate to go over 1 page. Judges might care less than private sector employees, but you just look like a blowhard. Even people with a decade of experience can generally compress into 1 page.

The potential exception would be if you are so well published that you bleed over due to an extensive list of publications.

Even then I think the standard is to have a normal one page resume and another page with all of your publications on it.
