Mass Mailing - Notifying Them I Will be in Area

I am a 3l and sent out a few mass mails to Bay Area. I have strong family ties in the area and will be travelling back to the area in a few weeks. I'd like to follow up and let them know I will be in the area. Anybody have some examples?
