Mass Mail Follow-up Question

About 3 weeks ago I emailed a named partner in a small firm in a town by a secondary market (5 attorneys). He said that he would look over my resume when he got a minute and two days later I emailed him with an updated resume (since I got a secondary journal offer). However, he has not gotten back to me. Should I send a follow-up email? Is he just holding my email until later to make a decision? Would a follow up email be annoying and thus ruin my chances if he was considering me? Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

A couple partners at my firm were just discussing this. They were both adamant that multiple emails is a huge turn off for them personally. You've already followed up with your updated resume. I'd personally advise against following up on your follow up.
