Post by Anonymous User » Mon Aug 06, 2012 10:42 am

A tad below Median at G. Does this list of screeners give me any hope? All NYC.

Main Question: Do any of these firms have hard grade cut-offs, and where if so?

Screeners with:
Allen & Overy
clifford chance
Schulte
Proskauer
Fried Frank
Seward
Orrick
Cadwalader
Willkie
Milbank
Stroock
Pryor Cashman
Brown Rudnick
Cahill Gordon
Chadbourne
Kaye Scholer

Does it matter?

Do your best in each interview and get to mailing ASAP.

Don't think that any of these have hard grade cutoffs (maybe A&O and FF?). I would consult with the grade history.

Personally know one person who got CC (NY) with horrendous grades.

Define horrendous.

And yeah, cosign everything that's been said. Go 100% for each interview, regardless of a cut off. Do reasearch and be personable.

OP here thanks for the replies. Figured the standard reply would be that it doesn't matter. Just wondering my chances at OCI since its been almost complete silence from mass mailing so far.
