Very nervous as well, 20 screeners here.Anonymous User wrote:I'm personally about to have a nervous breakdown. How is everyone else? And how many screeners do you guys have?
What. How did you get so many?Anonymous User wrote:Very nervous as well, 20 screeners here.Anonymous User wrote:I'm personally about to have a nervous breakdown. How is everyone else? And how many screeners do you guys have?
Lucky I guess. I don't think 20 was that uncommon.Anonymous User wrote:What. How did you get so many?Anonymous User wrote:Very nervous as well, 20 screeners here.Anonymous User wrote:I'm personally about to have a nervous breakdown. How is everyone else? And how many screeners do you guys have?
Did you get it individually?

How many did you get?Anonymous User wrote: Now I'm upset, ha. Lottery system sucks.
Should have done this, now I feel regret and shame.Anonymous User wrote:20 as well here. Last 3 were by reaching out to firms and saying "can i has interview plz?". Seriously, it might not be too late to reach out right now, although the firms will want to see your grades first.
But damn, you'd think cornell can either subsidize our hotel rooms or negotiate a discount with someone in the area, no?
edit: so anyone walking into this thing with a few callbacks under your belt?
Yeah, mind sharing around what GPA you had? I'm guessing top 10%?Anonymous User wrote:v4-v11, according to the most recent rankingsAnonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:20 as well here. Do you mind sharing what range of Vault rankings those firms were that responded positively?
edit: you have to send in your resume and transcript to have a shot though.
I hope this proves true.Anonymous User wrote:Reaching out isn't necessary. The big firms have hospitality suites. If they like you, they'll give you a screener. At the very least you'll walk out with free swag.
3L here. I recommend visiting the hospitality suites of firms you want. Usually there will be one or two 3Ls there you'll recognize. Ask them who the recruiting person is, walk up to that person, hand them your resume, introduce yourself and say "I bid on you but didn't get a screener. Is there any possibility you could fit me into the interviewers' schedule?" Worst case scenario: you wasted 5 minutes and walked out with a water bottle or something. Best case: you get another screener and possibly a CB. Don't do this with everyone; select a few firms within your range. And needless to say, you definitely don't want to waste their time by not being prepared if they actually offer you a screener.Anonymous User wrote:Reaching out isn't necessary. If they offer you a screener do they give you the screener on the spot?Lincoln wrote:3L here. I recommend visiting the hospitality suites of firms you want. Good luck, all!
They'll generally fit you in when the interviewer has an opening. That may be at lunch, at the end of the day, or whatever. Sometimes you can even get lucky and get a CB, but that's relatively rare.Anonymous User wrote:If they offer you a screener do they give you the screener on the spot?Lincoln wrote:3L here.
