3L OCI

Is there any point in doing 3L OCI if you intend to accept an offer from your 2L biglaw firm? It seems like if you get an offer, you will accept. But also, every 3L firm will just ask if you have an offer. If you don't, then they won't want to hire you. So, is there a point to doing 3L OCI as a backup option? Seems like if a backup is needed, then the no-offer would preclude success anyway...Please advise.

You might as well try. Even without much chance of hedging successfully, you should attempt to hedge rather than not hedge at all.

Maybe they really like you and offer you a position, even though you were rejected by another firm. You will never know until you try

I am sure most of people that got no-offered in the past are doing well right now. Just apply widely, and practice your interviewing skills.
