Maybe, but it would be better if you are from Cincy and/or have worked in Cincy. (I worked for a fed judge in Cincy and my gf goes to UC for her doctoral degree). But do sell yourself hard. I know that they like T-14 kids.
Dinsmore is one firm I really liked.

Oh, then you must not make them think that you want to move to the bigger markets. I was specifically looking for jobs in Ohio, but ended up in Cleveland.

I have zero interest in NYC, DC, or CHI. I guess will have to swear a blood oath to them of such. I am going to be in Cincinnati either way. So you're saying I should sell my desire for Cincinnati hard in the interview?

Great firm and office. I had a CB there last year and they really push work-life balance and pro bono. Most firms SAY they do that, Dinsmore actually does it. Also great assignment bank system. I highly recommend, but yeah, you absolutely need to sell the "Why Cincinnati?" hard.

Solid firm, but a bit prestige whore-ish. Will drop a non T14er in an instant for one. Same with their regional offices. Had a CB there and an offer, but went with a different firm. Not a knock on them at all, but just an observation. I just thought it was odd that a real regional firm like that didn't have as many regional school based attorneys.

This is a bit pedantic, but just in case it would come up it's "Shohl" not "Schohl."

Well, the key people there are from NU and Michigan.

I'll bet you a dollar they're from Cincinnati. The old line about interviewing for any Cincinnati employer is that they don't ask you where you went to college, they ask you where you went to high school.
Cincinnati's one of the most insular markets in the midwest, if not the country. It's not just employment either. Culturally, Cincinnati is its own animal compared to anywhere outside the Cincy metro area. If I were you, I'd show up wearing a Bengal-striped tie, talk about how it's a damn crime Pete Rose still isn't in the HoF, and ask to go to Skyline for your callback lunch.

Last year for 2L recruiting, offers came out in late Oct (for T14 kids at least).
