I'm still waiting to hear from a CB I had 2 weeks ago. They told me early September, so I'm going to start freaking out come Friday.

Thanks! What a relief... And quite honestly I probably couldn't have done it without this thread. Just being able to talk you all about what to expect and having a vent really made the whole process slightly less stressful. So, really, thank you all -- I am sure we will all get at least one offer.

I also wanted to say that I feel the same way, this thread was such a huge help. Often it was just great to hear what information others knew in a system where everything can be so secretive.

Just for posterity's sake (assuming future generations of Hastings students check this thread), did you notice any major differences between the DA hiring and the biglaw hiring processes? Was the callback significantly different? Was the timing any different?

I know I got a lot from reading last year's threads, so I figure it might be worth writing down for next year (if you don't mind).

PM'd. Secrecy almost certainly unnecessary, but I'll be paranoid until the letter arrives in the mail. Also I've been reading a lot of surveillance cases lately.
