If you could get any legal job, where would you work?
Hypothetically if you could get any legal job (private practice, gov't, academia, etc.) after graduation, what would you choose.
Which firm in private practice?
Which office in gov't?
Which school/focus in academia?

I would do appellate lit at Williams and Connolly because there the most prestigious. I would also post on TLS and let all the rest of the posters their know how prestigious I am and that I can have any job I want.

Re: If you could get any legal job, where would you work?
I'd do (in order):
(1) if I had the right clients, my own firm. Perhaps half plaintiff side securities, antitrust, and patents; half defense of the local companies. White collar defense if I had the clients.
(2) AUSA in Kansas City, MO (my hometown)
(3) Husch Blackwell in Kansas City

Head of the NFL legal counsel, right hand man to the Commish.
Ideally,my office would be on a beach, with the windows to the ocean, and the back door to the golf course. There would be a full cocktail bar staffed and ready to go just down the hall.

I would work for Magnificent. Easily the most prestigious job after being Magnificent himself.

Partner at Susman Godfrey or U.S. Ambassador to some tropical island with hot women (Bermuda?). Not sure if the latter would be a "legal job" or not. Ha
