Anyone had a clerkship offer or interview yet?

Hi, just curious. Who has had an interview or offer for a clerkship already? I know you all don't want to out yourself so could you answer these questions if you have:
1) Interview or offer?
2) State (trial, app, sup ct)? Fed (what type?)
Also curious about a few things. Do employers at OCI hire future clerks and just postpone their start date a year or two? How does that work ? Also, do you have to pay for your own bar review as a clerk?
Thanks

A co-worker of mine has an interview with the WA sup ct next Monday.

I have friends (rising 3Ls) who have already been interviewed by (and accepted offers with) federal CoA and D.Ct. judges for 2013-2014.

(1) Offered more than 10 interviews... accepted an offer doing 1/2 those interviews. (I applied for COA clerkships as a graduating 3L/'12 grad that has a federal district court clerkship for '12-'13)
(2) Fed COA
-As to OCI - the typical rising 3L clerkship applicant has already completed OCI as a rising 2L and will be an SA somewhere. Typically their 2L SA firm will extend an offer. The following things can happen: (a) if your judge allows you to, you might accept the offer, (b) if your judge allows you to, you might defer the offer, or (c) if your judge requires/prefers, you ask them to close the offer and tell them that you will ask for it to be re-extended towards the end of your clerkship. Now, some people will apply for a post 3L SA that precedes their clerkship.
-As to bar expenses/review - it comes down to two factors: (a) (most important) whether your judge will allow you to ask money from the firm and (b) whether the firm will pay for bar review expenses for clerks. You should be saving money from your SA to fund yourself post graduation (living expenses through August, moving expenses (~$1k-$2k if you do it yourself), bar review course (~$1k for themis or ~$1.7k for barbri), bar expenses (~$1000 - application + exam + C&F), and hotel/travel for the bar (~$500)).

Does anybody know whether there's an active site similar to Clerkship Notification Blog, Law Clerk Addict, etc.? I cannot seem to find a message board for that type of information (i.e., which judges are calling, who has hired, etc.). Thanks!

Until a couple weeks ago, there was one called The Clerkship Scramble which did a pretty good job tracking these things, but it has since vanished.

Yes, several people I know are in this situation. CA9 is mostly hired up for 2013-2014. Mostly.

I use the cream colored copy paper from Staples. Much cheaper then resume paper, but still stands out. Probably in a bad way though. I should've sucked it up and dropped a pile of money on legit paper.

I interviewed for a 9th Circuit spot about 3 weeks ago. I guess I flubbed it, though the judge told me s/he would perhaps be interviewing for several more weeks.

1) Offer (T14 alum)
2) An odd-numbered circuit that isn't 9.

Regular old paper. Not like the most dirt cheap paper, but plain copy paper. I'm firing off too many to spring for nice paper.

Are you sure it's not the other way around? Many ND Cal judges prefer CoA first, whereas very few consider law students straight out of school.
