We need one, right? What should it look like? School seal/crest okay on it?
If someone could link to something acceptable, that'd be great.
I know this is way in detail, but there seem to be such strict/nuanced rules about appearance during OCI i thought i'd go ahead and ask.

If your school has a padfolio, great. If not, just go to office depot and get a basic one.

Yes, leather folio with pad of paper and another sleeve for pen, business cards, etc.
You want to be organized on that day - and be able to hide your info/cheat sheets of all the other firms you will be interviewing with.

Either get one with your school's name, your undergrad's name, or, if ballsy, something really interesting (my old roommate had one of the "Hartford Whalers" a now defunct hockey team - people loved it)).

HAHA I was thinking about using the one I have from when I was working for the WNBA. The cover is made from basketball material. Thought it was too much, though.

You win at life if you use this:

In law school I used something Westlaw gave me.
When I was a clerk, I lost the leather westlaw thing and used a government issued redweld and some government issued lined paper.

uh.. what's wrong with you guys? Why are you carrying your own stuff around? What are assistants for?
Besides, getting a backrub during the interview totally puts you in the zone. Half way through, order your assistant to give a backrub to the screener- it demonstrates leadership.
When they ask about your grades, just say your assistant types slower than you dictate - nothing you could do about the exams. I'm telling you, you can't lose.

Do you really want THIS happening to you in an interview?

I think you can really bring whatever you want into the interview as long as it keeps your papers organized and looks minimally professional.

So might I suggest..

Just make sure you tell them you are "working for the weekend" and cut the interview short. You'll look like a total B.A. (like one of these guys).
