NY firms that hire part-time during the year?

Sorry if this has been rehashed before, but a search didn't help me. Has anyone in NYC done part-time work for a firm (small or medium law, whatever) during the school year? Any tips on where to look for a position like that? I was thinking of picking up an internship for next semester, but I think I would probably rather be paid than take unpaid work for the credit. Any sites you can direct me to, firms, or personal anecdotes would be much appreciated!
