Any input on my bidlist would be massively appreciated. Top 20% at Fordham (3.47), looking like secondary journal. No patent, no significant WE, federal judicial extern over the summer. Trying to bid as conservatively as I can to maximize interviews. Leaning toward litigation, but am definitely open to M&A and have good answers for both. All NYC. Based ranks on prestige of firms and class size coupled with the ratio of offers for pre-selected candidates to those selected through the lottery system.

Looks really good, although I might put Orrick lower. You'd still have a very good chance at getting a lottery if you make it ur 8th or 9th pick, or even lower, since they're pretty under the radar even though they are a great firm and (although its anecdotal) I dont many people bidding on them. Otherwise it looks great though.

I agree, it looks good. But if you aren't at least bilingual it makes getting an interview at linklaters harder, and getting an interview at curtis mallet much harder, so I would suggest at least getting rid of curtis mallet. Look at Nixon Peabody, Wilson Sonsini, Seward and Kissel, etc.... they all seem to take a fair amt of fordham students

Will having a Spanish major and being fluent in Spanish with some study abroad experience make me marketable to firms like those, or are they looking more for native speakers with strong ties to the areas in which they practice?

I might drop Allen & Overy out unless you have a specific reason for including them.
