S&C at #2 is a waste. S&C usually doesn't dip below top 10%. Do you have something like great WE to set you apart?

Also if you want Lit in NYC, no reason not to have Kasowitz.

If you're most interested in Boston, maybe some more Boston offices? Looks like 95% NY.

Thanks for the heads up on Kasowitz. I don't know how I missed that.

Also, no really interesting work experience. Is bidding S+C at all a waste?

It is 95% NYC offices. I'd much prefer boston, but getting an offer is more important to me. Unfortunately most of the Boston offices have single digit classes. I've bid high on the boston offices with larger classes. If I've missed any Boston offices with more than a token summer associate class, please let me know.

No it's not a total waste but it's probably the biggest reach you have on your list. I'd switch Skadden + S&C, because both firms have 20 slots and you have a much better shot at Skadden.

Well, I clearly fail at anonymous posting. Thanks for the help, will do.

Less of a waste than bidding Williams and Connolly #1

Totally missed that. That's a total waste also but tbf, Day 3 selection of firms is not great. Wasting a bid on that day doesn't matter as much.

Yeah, I'm well aware I have no shot at W+C and I'll probably slide it down one or two, but I figured I had some bids to spare on wednesday and may as well give it a shot.

Looks good. It is a tad on the aggressive side but you will probably get an offer.

Just a note on Cornell + Boston + Ropes: we have no Cornell kids in our class this summer.

That does not necessarily mean anything negative for you. This could just be self selection. But just know you need a good story, since you will have less alumni pulling for you from the inside.

It is a great place to work. Good luck.

If you want to guarantee a bid with shearman, put them one. With the dearth of firms on Wednesday, bidding them second will put you in the lottery. And an offer more like from there than w&c. Otherwise, solid

Looks reasonable, with the aforementioned changes.
