Does C&F look into volunteer experience listed on resume?

Some of the volunteer experience I listed on my law school application and on job resumes were with organizations that don’t really keep records, and I also don’t have current contact info for any of the people who supervised me. Will C&F be verifying that I spent a few dozen hours a month at a soup kitchen or a dog shelter? Should I amend my law school application to avoid this?
