urm status

curious how much (if any) impact URM status has for interviews this fall, if anyone knows anything about it. i have pretty much been operating as if it's irrelevant, but i'm not sure that is very prudent.

If you're above your school's median it will mean a lot. If not it will mean next to nothing.

somewhere in the top 30-40% at HYS. mostly trying to figure out if there are specific firms that are out of contention.

Ask your affinity group. They might have mentor programs/individual help. There are also diversity fairs.

if this is true, the world is yours. ---work big law for two years then go into academia/govt and never work past 4:30 in your life again.
