Early last week. CB was a couple of weeks before that.

Thanks for the heads up. I think this means there were at least three offers from B&G Houston early last week for people who did their CBs the week of the 3rd. Also looks like ding letters followed for others later in the week. Let's hope that they do another round soon and that those of us who did CBs the week of the 10th aren't already looking at letters on the way... :?

In broad strokes, which firm: JW or Porter Hedges? Really liked both firms and got a great vibe from both. Interested in litigation, but not sure what particular practice area.

Would say JW for lit and PH for transactional. But if it comes down to cities, I would say def JW if you want Dallas and PH if you want Houston.

If you liked the JW vibe, it's firm-wide. Is it the same for PH?

For me, I got the same vibe at both firms. Laid back, genuinely very nice people, and both seemed like a great place to work. Also, not sure if I'm reading your question correctly, but PH has only one office in Houston.

Has anyone had a CB with Shook, Hardy & Bacon (Houston)? If so, have you heard back?

I know nothing about PH, I was only speaking about what I knew about JW and wondering if anybody had similar insight to PH. Since it's only 1 office, it's definitely firm-wide!

I am the poaster who noted the apparent two week delay between CBs and responses for B&G Houston.

I have no idea if they are doing snail mail or email dings. I'm wondering this myself. I based my two week timeframe assumption entirely on people's self reported offers and dings on this and the bracewell thread.

Accepted JW Dallas offer. Grateful for the offer and to be finished with this process. Best of luck to everyone. This thread has been extremely helpful to me!

There seems to be no movement. I hear people have been getting rejection emails, not snail mail. I am waiting for them too.
