Top Law Schools

Created a new username for fear of outing myself due to posts I've made these past few years as an undergrad.

Anyway...I graduated from a "top" non-ivy undergrad in May (3.7gpa) and am trying to work as a paralegal for 1-2 years and having a horrible time finding anything.

I have mass emailed a bunch of firms in cities and even replied to craigslist postings.

Is there anything else I can do? Some online network that staffs these positions or something?

Let me know if you have any tips.

From which non-Ivy top school did you graduate ? You should have received some interviews if qualified with respect to languages, GPA, major or elite college or university.

The top law firms routinely recruit from Ivies, Chicago, Northwestern & "Baby Ivies" among other elite colleges & universities. Typically a 3.6 GPA is preferred unless the applicant has fluency in another sought after language such as Spanish.

I recently started a 0L law firm job. For your job search, narrow the search down to positions geared towards fresh college grads looking for firm experience before going to LS. I wasted a lot of time applying to paralegal positions before I started applying exclusively for "case assistant," "project assistant," or "legal assistant" jobs.

You can definetly get a paralegal job (appyling to everything can't hurt), but spend time looking for the positions I mentioned.
