Yep me too. I got two rejections after CBs and I'm waiting to hear from two more. Hopefully SOMEBODY will like me.

This will inevitably sound douchey, but considering how a lot of CLS students are having a tough time, it makes you wonder what's going on at the lower T-14 or non T-14 for that matter...

I'm with you on the two rejections after call backs. I've yet to hear from other places and those are inevitably dings.

NYUer here. Are there still lots of people waiting to hear from lots of firms after screeners? It seems to be a thing in the NYU thread; wondering if it's happening uptown, too.

This definitely seems to be the case. I haven't heard back from around half my screeners.

Orrick callback on Friday, offer today. Was told specifically that the hiring committee hadn't met yet this week, though, so for those waiting, it could very well be as late as Friday of this week.

Nothing yet at Kaye Scholer. I had my callback the Wednesday after EIP, so today will be the second hiring committee meeting that has an opportunity to review me. Obviously I'm not expecting good news.

Anyone hear anything from Weil? Had that evening cattle call style cb over a week ago... Told them I had an offer that expires soon, and I know they're slow as hell on everything, but come on man...

Anyone get an offer from them yet?

Waiting on 3 firms. Gotten enough offers to be fucking thrilled, though. Done with CBs. Been relaxing/drinking since then.

Best of luck to all that are still doing CBs. Schedule them soon and get them over with. It's a great feeling to be done.

I keep getting emails from the Columbia Law email system that says I have messages pending, but it's always empty. Thoughts?

First, do you mean you have gotten 5 rejections are havent heard from any of the 5. If its the latter, which firms? It may well not be panic time.

Hey sorry to hear the news. I would strongly suggest getting in touch with OCS, right away, they have been incredibly helpful to me in plotting my next steps once I realized that I had struck out at EIP.

It depends on the firm, but normally no. Many firms seem to regularly take longer than a week.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
