I'm not sure I understand your question. Almost all biglaw hiring is done at the beginning of 2L year, so almost no one from C/O 2012 would be interviewing for biglaw right now other than a few stragglers who didn't get jobs.

not unless they're coming off a clerkship, which they are not if they are c/o 2012.

I actually know someone who was just hired at a big law firm a week ago
