Re: GW OCI 2012
Nelson Mullins ding via snail mail. At least that's some news though as opposed to silence.
Just found out something interesting: large firms who haven't sent you a callback or rejection after your screening interview haven't forgotten about you. They put people "on hold." This means that they do one round of callbacks and offers, then another to fill any voids after they see how many spots they have left. So don't get discouraged just yet.

Re: GW OCI 2012
I don't want to say the person's name or firm who told me, but he was on the hiring committee at a large firm that participated in OCI and that I hadn't applied to. I was asking him questions about interviews in general and mentioned that I hadn't heard from one screener, but I knew they had already had callbacks and offers, so it was probably a no.Anonymous User wrote:"on hold"? know anything more about that? i'm still waiting on some i had screeners at. i figured it had been so long that it was just a rejectionAnonymous User wrote:Nelson Mullins ding via snail mail. He said that at his firm, they first extend a round of callbacks and a round of rejections. The people in the middle are put on hold. If they fill all of the available spots with the first round of callbacks and offers, then there is no need to keep the people on hold, so more rejections go out. However, if a few people reject their offers, they will need to do another round of callbacks.

Shulman Rogers has started doing their CBs. I had mine over a week ago, and apparently I was one of the earlier CBs. Dunno if that's good or bad or what.
They said they're going to to continue CBs for a few weeks, and I wouldn't hear either way until closer to the end of the month.
