Any shot at Biglaw?

Transferred from T30 to T15 (NU LAW), finished the year with a 3.7, Journal, Board position, but no SA at a firm. Getting good exp in gov. this summer and looking into 3L recruitment for SF/CHI. Chances at biglaw?

Always tough as a 3L. Try obviously. But if it doesn't work out do a clerkship and try again

You should be looking at NYC offices to maximize your chances if you want biglaw at 3L OCI. Many of the new york firms increased their summer classes dramatically from 2011 to 2012 summers. Not as many of the Chicago/SF offices had the same increases in class sizes. I had several friends who found biglaw or moved to better firms at NU 3L year with similar stats to you, it will be hard but it is possible to find something.
