Publication Question

Working at a medium sized firm for the summer, and recently wrote a short article (5-6 pages) for a partner that is going to be published as CLE material. The partner is being nice enough to give me credit as a co-author.
My question is how should I include this on my resume? It feels kind of pretentious to start an entire publications section just for one 5-6 page article. My LR note didn't get chosen for publication, otherwise I'd feel a little more legit about it.
Thoughts?

Do it. Pretentious or not, you have a published article with your name on it. Ergo, publication.

Any other thoughts or is this the obvious answer?

It is ok to put on my resume, he mentioned that as being part of the reason he is going to give me co-author credit. Just asking what the best way to include it would be.

Just make a "Publications" heading on your resume. If you're published, it may be a bit of padding, but it's not dishonest. And it can be a nice boost.

Anyone know how to cite this? Can't find anything in the bluebook.

Another option is to put it under the entry on your resume for the job. i.e.:
Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen and Katz Summer 2012
-Did a bunch of M&A stuff
-Ate lots of lunch
-Publication: Andrew Smith and Robert Johnson,
Criteria for the Selection of Midtown Lunch Spots WLRK Client Alert No. 50, June 2012
