Job interviews & Undergraduate Transcript

Searched the forum and didn't find anything. When you're interviewing for a 1L summer job, do firms/gov't/whatever ask to see your undergraduate transcripts since you don't have your fall grades yet? Or is work experience/extra curricular stuff the only thing from undergrad they are interested in?

Usually not but it depends on the job. Some top firms ask for them.

Some firms and organizations what to see them. Obviously the farther out you are the less it matters.

The vast majority of IP firms/jobs will require them

GP firms hiring patent doods usually don't.

if you drop out of law school do future employers ask for your LS transcript?
