I thought my NY interview went well, but crickets here. Anyone ask how long it would be before hearing from them?

my interviewer for sidley ny told me "they'll be in touch in a couple of days"

Thanks! I have a strong preference for litigation, which I told them, but I also said I would be open to trying transactional work.

I already feel like a failure because my phone has been silent since my Vault Interviews. I cannot believe this process goes on for months.

Dinged by Baker Botts via email and then five minutes later got a callback from Sidley, NY.
Could have sworn it'd be the other way around based on how the interviews went and the fact that I have never even been to NYC and have very strong ties to Texas / D.C... But hey, whatever.

Honestly I don't remember the interviewer even asking.
We talked about basketball 15 of the 20 minutes.

Just wanted to update for future TLSers who will search this thread out next year. Out of 9 screeners so far I'm up to 3 callbacks and 2 dings. In my opinion the event was well worth attending.

don't get discouraged by your results here. people always do worse at these job fairs than at oci, probably because firms take these less seriously and interviewers have fewer callbacks to give
