My T30 has about a 30 percent employment rate according to someone in the career services department. Graduation is pretty soon. Just how apocalypticly bad is that?

Since you're using the anonymous feature, would you mind revealing the T30?

If it's any of the public T19-T30s, it's not surprising at all.

Hastings 3L here.

Out of about the 100 or so 3L friends of mine, I know about a dozen with jobs lined up. It's absolutely terrible. I'm the only person I know outside of the top 5-10% with a job.

So how are you coping with not having a job to go to after the bar?

T20, the official data is about 35% of the class got a firm job through 2L OCI (which is worse than the class of 2011). From the people I talked with, I would say around 50% have something awaiting there after graduation. Things not looking good for those who dont have a SA 2L summer. Most people (at least according to them) will only resume job searching after the July Bar, because effortless search now will only add to anxieties.

It is one of those public schools. I'm not sure if I should say which school, don't know how sensitive this data is.

I'm not going to practice but will have a job, so I don't really care. But those going to a T25/T30 thinking they are "safe" should revise their opinions. It's really rough. TLS was not kidding with the T14 or full ride stuff.
