Summer legal internship at Intel?

I saw that Intel is hiring a summer legal intern for their Phoenix location (link here: http://www.intel.com/jobs/jobsearch/ind ... =200000007). I'm a rising 2L and I eventually want to go into IP/tech law. I'm currently waiting to hear back from a couple of other summer positions that I applied for. My question is, would the Intel position be a wise move? It's not a firm, so I'm not sure if the chances of future employment within the company are as probable as it would be at a firm - but I know that Intel pays their interns well.

Help!

A friend at my school summered at Intel and got offered a full time in house position post grad. Im not sure if those results are typical, but it's possible.
