Finally, the validation I've been searching for. Thank you, TToN.ToTransferOrNot wrote:I should have just gotten hammered more during 3L instead of gunning for summa, and I would tell anyone else the same damned thing.

Haha. When the biggest gunner in the history of school regrets not slacking off, you know it means something.

as someone said it depends on school range.
the biggest gunner went to a T6....
(also, as an advocate for cat-declawing - he should have spent more time volunteering at cat shelters)

I don't remember the context of that thread (I think it had something to do with following provisions in a lease and so on), but I'm pretty sure I never said I liked declawing cats. I'm just an asshole, not a sadistic asshole.

was it you who said that the declawed cats should be happy that they are saved though declawed?

Maybe. I have a cat that I had to declaw because it was "declaw and keep [lived in an apartment that allowed only declawed cats, can't really up and move], put a somewhat deformed cat into a shelter and hope someone else takes it before it gets killed, or leave the cat in the box that was on the side of the road and hope someone else takes it." Pretty sure all I was saying is that declawing in that (and similar) circumstances is better than death (my cat leads a pretty good life, complete with occasionally getting lobster). I'd never declaw a critter if I didn't have to.cantaboot wrote:was it you who said that the declawed cats should be happy that they are saved though declawed?
I mean, if you were in a shelter, and you do the fairly typical "show me the one that's next on the chopping block"--if you don't adopt it, it's dead--wouldn't you say declawing it (if that's the only reason you can adopt it) is better than killing it?
Anyway, should probably stop derailing this thread. I will, however, say that cats are a bigger deal than coif/magna.
