Was anyone here a 2011 Howrey SA, or does anyone know anyone who was? After the firm dissolved and the summer was canceled, what did the SAs do, considering it was close to summer?

I know of one 2L and one 3L who got jobs yanked from under them.. Don't really know them personally, but know "of" them. The 2L knew somebody (bigshot dad or uncle or something) and landed another SA at a decent secondary biglaw firm, and the 3L guy got really lucky and landed something in like March with an awesome NYC biglaw firm.

Ah. I still remember getting some BS pitch about their infamous boot camp.

A 3L I knew had found a job at a comparable firm in DC by June. He had strong credentials.

2L I knew with a Howrey offer used his sympathetic connection at an internship they were at to get a position as a significantly better firm.

I know one who is still jobless. =( Horrible situation.
