Typo- misstated employment dates

Today I noticed that I misstated the dates of employment by one year. The resume read January 2010 when it should have read January 2011 (it was an honest mistake). The problem is that I am in the interview process for 2 biglaw firms (one after callback, one after screener), an in-house job, and a smaller boutique firm (the partner was the one who pointed out the typo at my screener- he still invited me for a callback though).

What should I do for the firms where I am still in consideration? Should I send them an apologetic email with an updated transcript? Will they notice or care?

jsut email them and give them an updated resume. they've already interviewed you, i doubt a minor typo will drastically change their mind. however, some attorneys tend to be very picky about typos and could cost you the spot. but it's better that you point it out before they find out themselves.

Just send in an updated resume. You don't have to say there was a typo in the old one.
