I know that you have to get some sort of background check to get an ID to enter the court house. Any experience with this? What kind of questions would it be? I'm just wondering because I have a charge that did not result in conviction and whether it's more likely to ask about "arrests" or "convictions." Thanks in advance.

You don't need an ID to enter a courthouse. They are public buildings.

I did not have to do a background check for my judicial internship at the state level. People here who have done one at the federal level said there is a quick one.

Typically, federal stuff asks for pretty much everything.
