For 1L summer associateship I can be one of the first to interview or one of the last. Which should I choose? Does it matter?

I've heard: early is better the interviewer is fresh; and later is better because they will remember you.InGoodFaith wrote:There's a lot of "wisdom" out there about when to interview, but overall I'd say it's a wash between the two.
I prefer the end unless it's rolling decisions.Desert Fox wrote:I've heard: early is better the interviewer is fresh; and later is better because they will remember you.InGoodFaith wrote:There's a lot of "wisdom" out there about when to interview, but overall I'd say it's a wash between the two.
Curious why you say this. I imagine interviewers will be so sleepy right after lunch that they don't really remember who you are when they review applications.InGoodFaith wrote:There's a lot of "wisdom" out there about when to interview, but overall I'd say it's a wash between the two. Being the first interview after they get back from lunch is a good place to be, though.
They will remember you if you wake them up and wow them. Of course that's predicated on you are good at interviewing.target wrote:

Oh, they'll be awake. I'm going to make a power move and go naked. That'll also show them I have nothing to hide.r6_philly wrote:They will remember you if you wake them up and wow them. Of course that's predicated on you are good at interviewing.target wrote:
