Anybody heard back from either of these offices yet? Anyone have an idea of the time frame?

i got an email from brooklyn telling me i'd get a status update on march 9th. not sure what that means though.

Has anyone heard anything from Queens...or the Bronx?

Did anyone have an interview with any of them? I applied in Jan and only received an email from Brooklyn so far. No word at all from the others.

called Bronx right around the deadline (2/15) just to make sure all my materials had arrived. the person I spoke to said they hadn't even started looking at stuff yet and likely wouldn't until after the deadline passed.

Applied to Queens and Brooklyn and followed up with both last week. No response yet. Will definitely update the thread if I hear anything

Just spoke to Bronx DA, nobody has been called yet and they are still sorting out those who they want to interview and those who will be dinged. The woman I spoke to said that if you get a phone call it's for an interview, if you get a letter it's a ding. She also said they hoped to contact everyone by the end of March.

I heard back today -- Will be interning at Brooklyn DA's office this summer!

Anyone hear from Brooklyn today? It was supposed to be the big day but I was never contacted, and neither were any of my ADA-inclined friends.

@ ElectricDream - I did not have an interview at Brooklyn. I received a phone call on Friday, and they said they would be sending a letter with my start date

Did anyone else hear anything from Kings County on Friday? I was under the impression that everyone would get an update by then--maybe just the people with offers got calls, everyone else will get rejection in the mail? I have another offer with a deadline soon & was really hoping to hear from Kings County.

I heard at the end of February from KCDA regarding my offer. they just sent me me an email welcoming me to the office. Just got fingerprinted and filled out a bunch of past employment info, waiting to hear back and to go take my ID photo.

I am excited to work for them, but was worried when I read the article in the NY Times from 2009, about there not being enough seats for interns, and interns spending their time doing puzzles all day.

Congrats to the people who have heard back. Has anyone heard anything from Queens?

After several fruitless interviews at other places, I get an offer from here completely out of the blue. I'm sure that this is going to be an awesome experience, but for some reason I'm wary of a place that takes me without an interview...

Congrats! When did they call you? When did you apply? It seems Brooklyn also gives offers without interviews.

Oh sorry, I think I'm the anon you're replying to-meant Brooklyn not Queens. I applied in mid-January. Radio silence until today. Email, not phone call.

Anyone still pending with Brooklyn? I haven't heard a thing despite the March 9th deadline they set, but am afraid if I call it'll just expedite my rejection.
I called Bronx last week and they said 2 more weeks.
Called Queens and couldn't reach anyone with any idea.
