I'm a 1L, and I have interviews for each of the titled summer positions coming up. Realistically, I don't expect offers from all 3 opportunities, but I would like to gather information on them so I can know what to do should the floodgates of heaven open up I'm offered a position on the spot.

If it helps, I have a pretty substantial background in tax (for a 1L who went straight to law school). I would like to practice some kind of corporate or tax law as a career.

I would love any feedback you guys may be able to provide, as well as what you would prefer if you were in my position.

Thanks!

What is an "equity" judge? You mean bankruptcy courts? I ask because I am curious about this, too.

No, not bankruptcy court. My state has a somewhat unique system of having a separate court system for equity matters (e.g. divorces, child custody, probate, etc.).
