How do you all feel about sending out thank you notes following an interview? I'm not considering snail mail, but an email wouldn't take more than a minute. Any value to it? Thanks.

I think it's a good idea, it only takes a minute and can put you at the forefront of the interviewers mind.

Unnecessary. Too much downside risk and absolutely no upside.
Every interviewing lawyer mentions the one thank you card they received from an interviewee and actually enjoyed. Your card is not going to come close to matching the thoughtfulness of that card, so why even try? After you leave the interview room the interviewer literally circles Yes or No. That's it. Your card is worthless when received. DOA.
