edit: I was also told by a partner that nobody gave a crap about 2L grades unless you get an F or a bunch of C's.
I concurAnonymous User wrote:FWIW, I'm at an MVP and I know for a fact that the LA, Atlanta, and Cleveland offices have dug to median (and below) in recent post-ITE years, the NYC office seems to be looking for top 1/3, and the DC office probably requires top 1/4 at a minimum.
Any idea about the OC office? More or less competitive than others?Anonymous User wrote:FWIW, I'm at an MVP and I know for a fact that the LA, Atlanta, and Cleveland offices have dug to median (and below) in recent post-ITE years, the NYC office seems to be looking for top 1/3, and the DC office probably requires top 1/4 at a minimum.
The caveat is that they're bigger on fit than most firms. I was top 1/4-1/3 at H and didn't get a CB to one of the satellite (LA/SF/TX/ATL/CHI) offices, and I know people with worse grades who got CBs and offers.Doritos wrote:I concurAnonymous User wrote:FWIW, I'm at an MVP and I know for a fact that the LA, Atlanta, and Cleveland offices have dug to median (and below) in recent post-ITE years, the NYC office seems to be looking for top 1/3, and the DC office probably requires top 1/4 at a minimum.
